December 12, 2012. Today, DermOne distributed close to $30,000 in contributions to eight DermOne staff who suffered major losses (homes and a family member) during Hurricane Sandy. The money came from DermOne providers, staff, management, investors, families and friends of the company. In addition, a month-long collection of house goods and clothing was distributed more widely to many of the staff and community. DermOne is based in Toms River, NJ, one of the hardest hit communities in the state and at the epicenter of the storm. While DermOne offices were closed for a few days, there was minimal damage to the offices which were open within a few days and able to provide care for patients.
