Clinical Research Center, Wilmington, North Carolina
The clinical research center in Wilmington, NC is owned and operated by DermOne of North Carolina, P.A.
Clinical trials help bring innovation to the field of dermatology. These research studies, which require the participation of consenting patients, can help expand treatment options by providing access to novel therapies and cutting-edge technologies. In fact, most standard dermatology treatments are possible because of knowledge gained in past clinical trials.
Excellent dermatologic care is always available at DermOne, whether you choose to participate in a clinical trial or receive standard treatment. The decision to enter a clinical trial is always up to you. Our Clinical Research Center (CRC) conducts numerous trials across multiple subspecialties of medical dermatology and all phases of drug and device development. We can help determine if one of our research studies is right for you.
The best way to find a trial you may be eligible for is to talk to one of our clinical trials coordinators. They are familiar with all of DermOne’s ongoing and planned trials and the specific eligibility criteria for each. Our coordinators will consider your personal information, including your age, gender, diagnosis, previous treatments and other health issues to determine your eligibility.
The mission of our CRC is to improve dermatologic health and quality of life by collaborating with clinical and industry sponsors to conduct best-in-class clinical research on a multi-center basis.
